Saturday 27th January 2007:

Lute workshop: German tablature without tears!! A gentle but thorough workshop to demystify this much-maligned renaissance notation, and to introduce the wonderful and extensive repertory entombed within it. A unique matched consort of 4 renaissance lutes will be available for ensemble music. 10.30-4.30, St Margaret's Institute, 30 Polstead Rd, Oxford, OX2 6TN. Cost £40 (£35 full-time students).
